Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does it take?

A: Less than one hour is all you need to achieve maximum results.

Q. Shouldn’t this treatment only be done by a Dentist?

A. Teeth whitening is purely a cosmetic procedure which is non medical. Most Dentists don’t actually perform the whitening treatments themselves; very often it’s an assistant. Dentist don’t actually receive any university training in teeth whitening they only receive vendor training, the same training available to our technicians. At no time do our technicians touch your mouth or perform any dental procedure or diagnosis.

Q: How Safe is it?

A: We use the latest whitening gel approved for use in Australia.  We have a hygienic non-touch procedure.  At NO time will a technician touch you or your mouth.

Q: Im I likely experience problems?

A: Our gel is gentle and safe for teeth and gums, problems are rare when the client informed consent form is answered correctly.

Q: Are there discounts for groups?

A: The amount of people in a group and the circumstances will determine the discount.

Q: Are there side effects?

A: There are very small percentage of people who may have minor sensitivity to their teeth during or after the procedure just like some people have sensitive teeth to cold drinks.  Side effects, pain or discomfort during or after a whitening treatment are rare.

Q: Is teeth whitening for every one?

A: Most people can have teeth whitening treatments except for pregnant/lactating women or if you’re under the age of 16 years.

Q: How white will my teeth go?

A: This depends on each individual and the extent of discoloration but we suggest from 5-14 shades lighter can generally be expected.  The more stained your teeth the more dramatic the result will be.  The results are also relevant to how regularly you have a teeth whitening procedure.  Where whitening is done every 12 months or less it is more of a maintenance procedure and results are less dramatic.

Q: Will teeth whitening lighten veneers or crowns.

A: It will only lighten natural teeth.  Teeth will not lighten past their natural unstained colour.

Q: How long will the treatment last?

A: This depends on your diet and lifestyle, but it can last up to two years or more.
